We intend to be very responsible breeders and will breed for quality, not quantity. We also intend to promote the Egyptian Mau very energetically and have purchased a desexed male for just that purpose.

Our first Mau arrived on the 25th Sep 05 from Lana Pennington's Apophis Cattery in New Zealand. Unfortunately, or fortunately for us, Merlin was desexed due to an allergy to chicken. He needs a very special diet but we love him anyway. He is enjoying all the attention he is getting from personal appearances, shows and hopefully next year, his very own commercial. He has already exceeded our expectations of him by his eagerness to learn new things. He is already walking on a lead and gives you kisses on request.

A very special thanks to Melanie Morgan  from Emau Cattery in America for assisting us in selecting our first Stud. A very exciting time for us. We have selected these two breeders to help us as we don't want to rush things and want to be very selective in the pedigrees of our first breeding pair. This should ensure that we produce quality kittens.

All kittens will enjoy the run of the house as much as possible. At other times thay have a large sun room to run amok in. Strictly "CATS ONLY" out there. Except at feed time, of course. Before the kittens go to their new parents at around 14 weeks old, they will be desexed, microchipped, inoculated to 12 weeks, wormed and they will be provided with pedigre certificates.The kittens will be registered with WARATAH NATIONAL CAT ALLIANCE and can be shown as full pedigree cats.They will be given a final health check prior to placement. This will ensure that the new family member is as healthy as possible.
